This photograph was created using a technique called Cyanotyping. The object photographed is meant to follow elements of line and symmetry. Specifically, the photographed object is a piano, a grand and identifiable instrument. The photograph multiplies one quadrant of the piano and rotates the image 4 ways. The 4 Quadrant Multiplication is a technique used to mask the obvious image of the piano, giving the piece a sense of uncertainty. This piece was Awarded the Scholastic Silver Key award.
