TRANSLATIONS FROM BUILDING TO DRAWING

This project first tested the ability to translate a physical 3-dimensional building into a 2-dimensional line drawing. The building being translated was the University Religious Center on the USC Campus. We measured the building using photographs and basic measuring techniques. The line drawings were then broken down into core elements and adapted into individual, 3-dimensional modules. The 3-dimensional modules were then systematically combined into a single object.
